This Is A goodbye eulogy to my buddy Bob Pease. It starts with a bootleg video I took when I used to be visiting Nationwide Semiconductor in 2008. I mashed it up with some nonetheless photos of Bob’s Workplace, some going back 40 years. To that I delivered some stills I had of Bob from our days together on the Analog Seminar. There could also be a pair pictures in there from Fran Hoffart. One Place Of Job photograph is from Don Sauer. The flag at 1/2-mast is from Paul Grohe. Andy Aronson at National Semi has completed a great video of Bob. www.Nationwide.com My print eulogy is here: www.edn.com I took the .mov from the Dimage X50. I now not wanted to transcode in VLC. I refuse to install Quicktime on any laptop I personal. I went from 15 to 30fps and doubled resolution to 640×480. His cube should? be turned into a shrine!
Paul – I’m laughing; The crescendo at 1:25 is really funny. A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind though. Bob was such a clear-thinking genius. How many? thousands of analog engineers were inspired by him? I felt honored once because Bob and I had a few emails back and forth about electric cars…wow, I thought, Bob gave be 10 minutes of his own time. Yes, he was the celebrity of all analog engineers.
Dear Bob,
i never met You, but I have? learned so much from You.
